Final Article
My article
You may think that youtube has been around for a long time because of how successful it had become but it’s only been running since February 2005 and has billions of users every day. It’s now known for creating some of the most famous singers in the world this known as being ‘internet famous’ where millions of people around the world have access to watch you for free the more hits a person gets on there video the better. Justin Bieber is a well known international singing star all down to youtube. After posting dozens of homemade videos on YouTube in 2007, where the multi-talented Bieber put his impeccable spin on songs from artists like Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder, Justin racked up over 10,000,000 views purely from word of mouth. Seven months after Justin started posting his videos online, former So Def marketing executive Scooter Braun flew the 13-year old singer to Atlanta, to meet with his elite colleagues. As if Justin’s natural singing talent wasn’t enough to impress Scooters inner circle, Braun knew Bieber was also a self-taught musician who plays the drums, guitar, piano and trumpet.
We first started speaking to Ally about what first inspired her to sing. Which lead to her telling us it was due to the music she heard around her home from when she was a child her family would rather listen to music then watch TV. At the age of 10 was when she first started to realise that she had a voice people wanted to listen to singing in school shows and family parties. She told me how at the age of 13 she posted her first YouTube video after recording herself in the bath while her mum was at work. I asked why record yourself singing while in the bath, this led to her telling me that she finds it relaxing and produces the best sound since she doesn’t have the money to afford the latest equipment. Alex then started to describe the feeling she got when putting her music on the internet for millions to see. Scared, anxious and excited of what people might say or if there were zero hits. She told us the person that inspires her is katy perry after seeing her in her world tour last year and thinking this is were i want to be in 5 years time and will let nothing get in my way until i am! Her friends were the first to hear her getting over 200 views on her first song then being requisted songs to sing that her fans and friends would love to hear. We started to speak about her future and she has a lot more songs that have been requested for Alex to sing, while singing she is still concentrating on getting her A-Levels. Which lead to her telling us she doesn’t like shows like the x factor because of the bad publisiate that comes with the show and how she wants to make her own fame, her hopes for the future is to carry on singing and she were she ends. Her ulimate dream would be a world wide tour and sell out in every stadum being a global super star.
Youtube being such a varitey of different videos It’s not just solo singers who upload singing videos. There is groups to two girls called rin on the rox posted videos of them singing and got over 2000000 views on their songs. Then become famous in American appearing on the Ellen show and getting nominated for Grammy awards. Music is all around us. Due to the internet we can listen to it for our entertainment. Posting videos hoping that you might get spotted. There are millions of other people just like Justin Bieber or Rin on the Rox who might not have become famous from youtube but post videos of themselves singing hoping one day they will just like Ally and will we support her every step of the way. If you want to listen to her check out her youtube videos.

Intial Plans For My Magazine
After researching my genre of magazine the price of my magazine is going to be £3.50, the frequency of publication is going to be monthly this is because teenagers tend to never have a lot of money due to the lack of jobs therefore its more fordable for them to be able to by it monthly. After looking at my magazines I've decided that my magazine is average issue size is going to be around 160 this is because the magazine is monthly therefore the reader expects a lot more content compared to weekly magazines. The target audience is going to be Teenagers from the ages of 16-18. My genre is indie.

Plans for front cover
The title for my new school magazine is going to be SCHOOLS IN. The reason i chose this is because the word 'in' makes school look like a cool thing to go to.
The mise-en-scene of my front cover image is going to be a pupil reading a book in the library. I chose to have it set in the library because school is all about learning, reading books help you do this.
Cover lines-1. Whats new?
4. Results, Results, Results
5.Exclusive interview with head girl
6.Summer stories
